Has anyone experienced this? Today I turn my 08 PV36 on and the screen is blank, my AC is pumping at absolute max and no buttons respond.

No response from reverse camera either. I haven't been able to DC the battery yet.

I've read briefly about a circuit board called a "Finisher" ??

Ah okay. I had that issue before but restarting the car fixed it. But haven't had that issue for awhile now.

I will get random times where the aircond will be start at 32 degrees or 18 degrees.

The majority of time, my radio doesn't work, as in just the headunit audio. The aircond n camera still work. So my work around is to put the car into A/c then Start after a few seconds.

I will start looking about the finisher thing you mentioned cause it seems like my car will be heading to what you are having issues with soon :(

That's HU power supply from what i've been reading.

This whole headunit is such a pain in the ass. It's not possible to put something else in with a canbus is it?

Not that I have read.

Odd, just to the radio/audio unit? I will check it out.

By HU power supply, perhaps it's an issue with something as simple as capacitors drying up. Particularly if it's a common problem, it could be more likely a case of cheap capacitors or just a bad batch of them in which they eventually do dry out and present these issues. If you're handy with soldering/reworking surface mount components, replacing caps within the power supply of the HU would be a good place to start.
