S A U N S W Trackschool Trackday 20th April Round 1 Club Championship

It appears to be John's way of doing business from my past experience with him. It's the reason why I haven't even told work yet that I'm taking the day off because I may not need to.

FYI: If you cant wait until April, CircuitClub still has spots available on 26/1 and WRX/SSCC have spots available on 31/1.

Both have instant online signup and payment.

  • 3 weeks later...

Saw boz yesterday, he mentioned he had emailed most people back.

Also had a chat about hiring some cars so you have some friends who want to come and try it out but not keen on there cars on the track perfect opportunity for them.

oh he's emailed back? Must have missed me

Just shot him off a reminder email just now, hopefully I will get a confirmation soon so I can plan things... like leaving everything to the last minute.

    • I understand, thanks. Yeah I wouldn't want the car to tip over, I'll try and use the sills, I don't want to risk smashing the chassis rails. I ordered some rubber pucks that have a hopefully big enough slotting. If the front right gives me trouble I can always just make a wood block. I'll measure and inspect the sills closer once I actually take the car up. I hope so, but the rubber blocks I had in hand so far were pretty damn firm, if they are that hard they won't give much way. I'll let you know what happens. Angle grinding rubber isn't one of my favorite tasks. I'll probably start a build thread soon, for my own documentation and "log" as well as sharing what's going on with the car.
    • Kinda something I have been thinking about.  To be honest, we bought it already driving like that.  So there's no telling how long it actually has been driving like this.  Hopefully damage is too bad when we drop the pan.   I am having a hard time finding a site that sells the solenoid for the 5 speed auto, do you have any suggestions?
    • That'll be most likely down the road...  LOL
    • a stock / option or aftermarket?
    • This is what I've done, add DC until it meets my fuel pressure requirements and above 4500 at over 1bar of boost, I send its mum with 100% DC to both pumps. I'll post up a table soon when I'm free.
