V36 370gt Window Washers

Recommended Posts

Just a silly problem here.

Window washers are really weak, drivers side gets about 1-2 inchs of water on the bottom of the windscreen, passenger side not even enough to see hit the windscreen at all.

Used a thin needle to check for blockages, but seems ok, anyone had this issue with this model?

Fluid level is full, not sure what else to check

Mine were the same when i got delivery, i pulled them off the airlines and soaked them overnight as they were full of gunk, then blew out all of the grit made sure they were clean and then put them back and they work a treat now.

they are just held on by little clips that the unit sits in.

try pulling them off the bonnet then clean them.

Thanks

Was surprised how easy it was to remove them, (My Previous car is a 5 Series BMW)

Got them soaking overnight now in white vinegar, so will give it a go before I head to work tomorrow morning

howd you go with this?

They were better, but still not right, but a can of compressed air helped a lot.. sprayed it through all the connections on the nozzles.

At this point they seem to be as good as new again
