Hey guys,

Just picked up a 1999 BNR34 V-Spec last week after many months of searching for the right one. Approx 120,000kms and the only mods are HKS exhaust, TE37SLs, Nismo cluster, Nismo S-Tune skirts, suspension and LED tail lights. As you can see it was female-owned, going to have to change the plates and pink bits lol

Ironically, I wanted a mechanically stock car for "reliability" for the time being as this will be my only car. But of course a few days after I bought it, it starts playing up on the commute home :rofl2:

Previous owner did tell me that the AFMs were on their way out and that the car would intermittently play up on her too. Rough idle, doesn't rev past 3,000rpms and doesn't boost. Sounds like a boxer and I have a feeling it might be running on fewer than 6 cylinders :glare:

Looks like new AFMs, coilpacks and maybe even O2 sensors might be needed. I have a lot to learn about the car and this is great start to my GT-R ownership journey!

Osman, that looks incredible!

Welcome to the forums! Are you planning on keeping a build thread?

Thanks PranK! I'll definitely be starting one once I've ironed out the small issues and actually start to build it. However, I've been thinking of keeping it stock and original, but we'll see how long that lasts

Theres tonnes of people on here that had that exact intention .... Very few of them actually last.
