Paint Protection For Track Days? Vinyl? Plastic Dip? Something Else?

My GT-R has a freshly painted front end and I'd like to keep it that way.

What's the best/easiest way to protect the paint at a track day?

Buy a cheap front bar and swap it over for track days.

Done loads of track days and other than the odd paint chip there isn't usually a problem. Put some tape over your headlights if you are worried about them. Don't follow people closely in the corners and you wont get much chucked at your car.

Has anyone had any direct experience with the 3M clear film or plasti-dip for these purposes?

Car bras are a shitty 80s fix. Clear film is where its at these days. Many new cars get it done before even being delivered to the customer

Clear paint protection film will do the job nicely. It's not cheap, but worth it if you've got paint worth protecting.
