Little off topic,

but is there any video links on YouTube of your car?

couldn't find any and my son is hassling me to see it running he wants to see it going around the track. Lol cheers

Hey Sycorb, can you add a little more about the car and put up at least a ballpark figure?

If you can do that and add more pics I can even share the car on Facebook.

big effort to make it roadworthy

heres some vids

one for the kids

racing a 10 second evo

first shake down first time in car and on track

first start up

WTAC hot lap

having some fun at powercruise 2015

http://autoaction.com.au/video-time-attack-car-decimates-drag-racing/

everything is proven

no short cuts were taken

best of everything and a load of customs parts made up

over 500hrs in the build

520awkw

precision turbo

dry sump

sequential

haltech elite

alcon supercar brakes allround

custom hubs to stop brake fade (loads of time went into these to stop brake fade)

i have a parts list of atleast 40 pages

ikeya arms all through the car

car is cams approved

if your interested please contact me via PM

Thanks for replying just thought id ask, not trying to be a pain but how does the veilside evo III fenders, they look like plastic, all ive been able to find is fiber glass?

    • its certainly looking like a power issue now which im all for so i can test turn the limit off for the upcoming track day i was hoping to make ahahahah
    • i only have ecu voltage available but that certainly does drop as that still relies on the 27 year old wiring, although has an ls altenator that pump out 140 amps and wiring upgraded to suit that. i will test the sensors without it running soon thats a good one.   it an emtron kv8, i recently redid the engine side harness so i have my own wiring guide for it but i had the same issues when i used the plug and play kit that was adapted to suit my old vipec adapted harness
    • Definitely looks like an outlier, perhaps there may be some electrical issues like others have pointed out earlier. My pressure drop I can replicate over and over again, which I'm blaming the relocation block for, however yours is mounted right up the block.
    • im surpirsed a halaltech doesnt show that. this scatter is from a 45 second long log
    • Also, at that point if the engine support stand slips I hope you can bench press 200+kg of RB26. Considering the oil pan has to be RTVed on as well which has like a 15 minute working time between the first drop coming out of the tube to fully torqued to spec I would probably never attempt pulling the oil pan unless the engine is on a proper stand.
