I sell hundreds of different products. Am I supposed to fit every single 1 before I sell them? Who does that?

I took the word of the manufacturer and they stuffed me around. This is HISTORY and the dude that has a problem with it needs to let it go.

I DO NOT sell them and HAVE NOT sold them for years now and this has 0 relevance to this topic.

Reference was made when YOU said "ignore other posts directing you to junk that will inevitably let you down".. I'm not an idiot mate. I know what the you were carrying on about.

Like I said, there is a select few people that like to comment on every single coil thread that is posted. Most normal people don't seek out the coil threads and say the same thing over and over an over.

When a person gets on the thread and says that they have been successfully running YJs in high boost applications, you all ignore the post and just continue to bitch and whinge.

Also, so when you say you will not openly bag the brand, then why do you post things like this:

No matter what I say though, you guys will continue to hang shit on me and my brand so I'm just wasting my efforts.

That reference was not directly at your product, it was at all of the eBay junk that people waste their money on. My comment about openly bagging yj's is talking about future. The comment I made that you quoted was not in this thread and was made after someone bought brand new coils from you that didn't perform as advertised. You say you don't sell and haven't sold the intake pipe for years but on eBay you are selling the intake pipe being mentioned. It seems you will do or say anything. I don't like the way you do business and you have made sure that I will never purchase anything from your business and would never recommend you. The people having success with your coils are too few, therefore you should prove your product yourself. You should also make sure products you sell, fit what they say they will. Consumers don't care that you sell hundreds of different products, we expect them to do what we pay for. You are just interested in filling your pockets with cash so it seems and are full of excuses.

I stopped selling that intake kit 3 years ago. I have no idea why you think I am still selling it?

Sending back to china where the factory that produce them can sus it out it not a bad request. Especially at no expense to you as the shipping would have been covered.

What do you think happens when splitfires shit them selves? If you are lucky and it happens within the limited 6 month warranty then the distributor will tell you to deal with splitfire and splitfire will tell you to send them back to japan at your expense.

If they find something wrong wont them then they may send you another set. If they say they cannot then you have to pay to get them back yourself. Many companies do this and Im sure you are aware of that.

Link to intake.

I was talking about others that are still being sold on the performance wise website.

And I gave you a way to get your coils tested in a way that will not leave you out of pocket. But you haven't taken that on board.

those don't fit either, I bought one for the RB 180SX knowing it wasn't going to fit so that I could chop it to fit.

Worked out cheaper than buying a few bends for a metal fabricator to join up.

The hoses don't line up to the OEM BOV return and oil breather and the angles are all wrong.. but I knew of all of that prior to buying it (the photo gives it away).

The metal one almost hits the shock tower. Honestly don't know how people can put a pod on them with the space provided.

I think PW is talking about another kit he isn't selling? All the old ones are still on his/her website.

You are correct. I thought your were referring to the intake I used to sell for the R33 GTR. I apologise as I got this mixed up.

I stopped selling the GTST intakes for a while and the manufacturer told me they fixed the issues?

I havent had any bad feedback on these since I started selling them again? This is news to me?

I screen grabbed it incase he removes the listing :)

Thankyou for accusing me of underhanded tactics.

Not true. Ive sold way more than you know about and have far more happy return customers and distributors than a tiny handful of bitter SAU members.

I am not in this game to sell parts that dont work. Your kdding yourself if you think that. All sellers have trust with the manufacturers that the items will perform. When they dont then yes, that becomes an issue that I address with them.

So thank you for accussing me of being a thief and a con artist.

Does it not clearly say in the sale page:

"BOV return lines may need to be modified or installation of aftermarket BOV with blanked ports."

You guys are just relentless.

i dont usually like this sort of thing being argued about in public, but mate we are your market.

as a seller you make your money selling these products, if you take on hundreds of products and it backfires because you are putting your name against something you havnt had experiance with or you take on 1 faulty shit product amongst the other 99 and thats all we talk about, then you have to take the consequences.

we dont care about the manufacturers responsibilities to you, thats your game, we care about the person we are paying for the products, never ever talk about anything else cos the consumers dont care.

we are a difficult bunch of people as we are going to be finiky, picky, often strapped for cash (the money we shell out is dear to us) and thats how we are.

and seriously dude dont attack your buyers, even if they are wrong, pull your head in and i mean that in the nicest hoping your lively hood isnt damaged way. how does that look for new customers?

Ross was selling balancers for years, then people saw issues with it and went ATI/whatever. Didn't Ross have to revise it? If an issue comes up, fix it. But once your reputation is tarnished, it's hard to get it back unless you prove it.

But seriously, what do you guys expect coils that are pretty much half price from China to do? They're good for standard engines.

I have every right to defend myself and justify with the truth and facts. (Would be great if people actually stayed on topic) This thread has happened. Time to move on.

yeah but....

"We are the worlds only supplier of Yellow Jackets performance coil packs which have proven themselves over the years as one of the best coil packs on the market today."

I know you have to promote the product in a positive light but come on...you talk about justifying with the truth and facts?

I have invested too much time and money into this and failure is not an option.

To me this means you will say and do anything to make a buck. Lie, cheat, rip off suckers included.

If your current product is actually all that great, you still have the problem of the older ones still floating around the used market.

Sadly its going to be a long road for you to prove the improvements and it is going to take some reputable third parties to help. Not just bragging about sales that nobody ever sees.

I'm way off from being ready, but now my shed is up (today) ive been planning to build a coil pack test bench just cos i like messing with stuff. I'm a Auto sparky and should still have all my text books from back in the day to test everything thoroughly.

I'll set it up as a bit of a torture test adjusting dwell, voltage and plug gaps etc. The original idea being that myself and probably half of everyone on here has a set of coilpacks and doesnt know which one is faulty. hopefully figure out the max dwell times etc for each style to help with tuning and not cooking coils.

Was planning to keep it not for profit. just pay for postage and ill send em back with a small report. If this is still raging when i'm ready i'd be happy to test a couple completely unbiased.

Cheers

I'm going Wakefield 30th of May, Performance-Wise can come put their coils in and I thrash it's mum on the track... if it misfires I will post up it misfired vs. my run of the mill "sub-par" Splitfires.
