So water is getting in through my boot through a small hole under the shelf in the rear close to the computers on the driver side. It's not leaking through the wing holes or the lights or the boot weather stripping. I can hose down the car or wash it and it doesn't leak but the minute it rains it leaks which makes it super hard to track down. Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Water comes in when the car is still parked in any orientation. I think it might be coming in through the plastic threaded screw holes that hold the rear windscreen molding down. Ive soaked the car with a hose on multiple occasions but it did not leak. The second it rains it leaks. Its wierd.

pull the boot weather strip off if you haven't already.

Check the rubber and where it joins. Reseal when you put it back on.

Inspect rear quarter windows

Pull the rear lights off and reseal

Remove rear wiper, check rubber and reseal

Make sure it doesn't have a leak in the hose to the squirter (as this is a gotcha for the un-initiated)

Use silastic/silicone when putting parts back in.

You can do the "clean it all and dust with talcum powder and see where the talcum powder is wet" trick.

I would much prefer to pressurise the whole car with smoke. If you do that please post a photo!
