Assuming it in a 33..

Your mechanic probably installed it wrong because he doesnt know what he's doing. why would you let him do it if he hasn't got a clue....

can't go past 5psi, probably just running stock actuator pressure.

get your money back and go somewhere else or read the manual, should be fairly straight forward

Well he is a mechanic that's why I'm pretty sure he did install it right just needs to bet set up it does work! Only on 5psi I tried to set it on 10psi and it switches back to 5psi I did read the manual tried to get it going but failed might give a auto electrician a call!

did you check his installation of the solenoid with the manual? its easy to put something in backwards.

the stock actuator is 5psi, so its not working, if it was you'd be getting more.

if you can find someone local who knows anything about boost get them to have a look at it. any car meet or something should find you someone =)

Ok sklyn thanks for that I have not checked that! I'm assuming mechanics know this shit just to install a boost controller I did ask him if he knows how to install he said yes! Most mechanics should know FML not rocket science but I'll check thanks for that!

Ok should I get auto electrician to check it or a turbo mechanic to check thanks for advice! Nizmo_Man

Not necessarily. Many "professionals" hate to admit what they don't know. Post your location up with your name and see if a local SAU member can have a look at it or they may point you to an RB knowledgeable workshop.
