Just had the AMPerformace intake installed along with new plugs.

Went for LFR7AIX.

I've always had low idle since I bought the car and the occasional stall.

Now after this work, idle is rough and way lower.

Touch the throttle and there's an initial increase in vibration, then it seems ok.

Driving is fine, only idle and take off is bad.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere, aftermarket intakes can cause this but I can't see why they would.

Or is the different spark affecting the idle.

Anyone had got any ideas.

Cheers

I had Craig do it while the intake was off.

Wouldn't it drive like shit right through the rev range if that was the case ?

Craig is a Vtard now so who knows. :P

Check vacuum lines and intake plumbing are all reconnected properly. Intake leaks are the most common idle fault

Yes, the amount of fuel reg hoses I have seen pop off, it is very common especially once you bump up the boost, or muck around with the BOV.
