The filler hole is on the right hand side (drivers) about half way up. Use a 1/2 inch ratchet without a socket to loosen it. You can fill it from the top by removing gear shift lever (easier) and use the hole on right hand side to check level. You will need around 3.5 - 3.8 litres of oil.

I filled mine by running a hose into the filler hole behind the front right tyre (at full lock). Sounds like filling from the top might be easier - do you just pour it in at the base of the shifter?

I wouldn't want that smell getting inside my car.

Not exactly hard to use a pump and hose to fill through the "Filler Hole"

Not exactly hard to use a funnel either[emoji6] The op is asking where the filler hole is, doesn't strike me as someone who would own an oil pump, hence my suggestion.

I'm a novice too and was much more confident spending $3 on a pump than removing bits and pieces and risking spillage inside my nice clean minty fresh daily =)

Being someone who has not actually removed a shifter or seen this hole to pour into, i don't think either is harder than the other if you put your mind to it. I just personally dont like liquids inside my car because shit happens...

I used a funnel and just poured it in through the shifter hole. No mess because I went OCD with towels everywhere - Was much faster than using the filler hole.

Be careful using a 1/2" ratchet, I've seen a plug get stripped out because of it. You can get a cheap sump plug socket kit from SuperCheap which has a proper bit for it.
