I had no cat on my Legalis R when I bought the car.

Fitted a 100 cell cat, couldn't notice any loss in power at all (under 5000 rpm )

Also the cat didn't make it any quieter really. Maybe 3-5 dB

Just want it to be legal, plus bonus bung for tuning.

Still over 110 dB.

Over 110db is illegal, right? Whatever you have cat or not. But de-cat is another reason for defect

I know you've already bought your exhaust but the Legalis is the best sounding exhaust for the m35

Purely sexual I tell ya !!

It does flow cause I managed 317kw with a decat front pipe

Very quiet no drone inside the cabin

But loud when you get on it

Yes there is a difference as with the 42.7mm you are actually restricting the flow where as the 60.5 mm silencer (SIS090) is actually the same internal size as the exhaust internal so no flow is restricted. You will need to cut a small amount from the end to allow to fit. I will try and find a pic for you to show

You need to cut of 32mm of the inner pipe to fit flush. Are you on face book ill tag you in my post.

ordered SIS090 today with special sound absorbing cotton ring to reduce the drony.

NIS001 is 135mm length, SIS090 is 220mm. i would like to cut 85mm on SIS090, this could make the exhaust air go into the small room then out to atm, like a smaller muffler.

Yeah i dont understand the need for the cotton donut....

The silencer works as the exhaust gasses now exit further towards the rear of the muffler thus less space for noise?

Wow. That cotton ring will do shit all. As will your small gap plan

I'm betting on it. 5 bucks. Cash.

here is a video for that cotton ring. not sure if it is sure.
