I just bought a set of Yokohama A539s they are the business...

soft and grippy, very good in the wet... but in the end it pretty much comes

down to personal experience and preference.

They fit your price range.

as to the tyre fitment on ur rims, not too sure.. something u'll need to check

with a tyre specialist. ie. BobJane, Tyre Factory, etc

Eug

My car has 17 x 8? (not actually sure yet, still stuck on the wharfs) but rear tyres are at 255/40/17. So i reckon you might get 265's outta ur 18's? Might wanna check that tho.

Tyres i've got are Advan Neova's, haven't driven the stupid thing yet! but have heard these are good tyres. Altho, ppl are having trouble actually getting them here

cheers

I personally love the Falken fk451s, they are great.  In 235/40/18 they are about 400.

just got a set of these...love them!! my car is like a different car in the wet now... I would recommend them to anyone! (they're great in the dry too, but it's just the wet that you really notice the difference when you have good tyres and you don't have to be so afraid of stepping out when you go thru a corner!)

I had Advan neova AD06's on my old soarer and they held on damn well until they were past there used by date... N-1 Distribution sells them in victoria but the prices are just plain silly unless you want to pay 3-4K for rubber :(

Damn... another person who likes FK451 Falkens :)

I think they are 'ok' - I prefer the ST115 but wear is a tad higher on the 115 vs. 451.

T.

we are running the 115s on the z now and I believe the 451s are superior, I'm very disappointed by the 115s :D
