Have been getting an "Error 522", bad gateway message recently, what is happening?

Just happened for me, and have noticed a bit the last couple of days.

Appears to happen the most when pressing "View New content" button if that helps. Immediately hitting refresh sees the site load like normal.

Yeah, number of users on the boards confirms there's an issue but I can't get it to happen for me!!

Please do. I think I have it sorted now but I wasn't seeing the error myself at all so am relying on the reports of you fine folk.
