Nismo Injector Confusion

Hi Guys,

I am just a little confused after receiving conflicting info from our two favourite jap parts suppliers.

Greenline gave me a quote on some Nismo 555cc injectors for my rb25det.

Nengun told me Nismo dont make 555's for an rb25det and only make 740's.

According to the online Nismo catalogue they do make the 555s.

So my question is, does the larger (740cc) injector effect the idle quality? or is it pretty much the same?

Only reason I ask is I was quoted less for the 740's than the 555's

good question. I would like to know this aswell.

Generally it would effect idle , however it would be nice to know from someone who has used them.

It depends on whether or not your ecu can handle the minute control of the larger injectors required to maintain good a/f ratios at idle.

nismo do make 550cc injecotrs I have some i my car some of the 740's have the plug for a wrx apexi brand mainly so your best to get the 550's plus it is easier to tune with the 550's.

has anyone had dealings with greenline? are they trustworthy? i thinking og ordering 555cc injectors myself, what do you guys all think?

yes very trustworthy, me and heaps of people i know and on this forum have all dealt with them many time never to have a problem

Yeah Greenline have been excellent in my dealings with them. I have gotten 3-4 different items from them now and never had a problem.
