mycarhasposessedme
A lot of threads about it on myG37. Seems to be cars that have had a lot of sun exposure over their life. Mine has a touch of it too in a couple of spots, just gets a bit sticky when its left in the sun. I always us a sunshade behind the screen when I park it & it seems to keep it in check. There was talk of trying to get Nissan to do a recall, but I dont think that went anywhere. Big job replacing the dash. Cheers Mate. Justin370GT
Yeah Nissan would probly be like I don't think so I might ask at my local they are pretty good at gettin around that sort of thing like recalls n warrentee issues even past the date. Mines hammered a I gotta pull it all part anyway to replace a steering wheel bezel so might just do the dash Iv got a q60 speedo going in also. Rufus007
Seems to be a problem from several manufacturers around 2007 to 2009. I left mine out in the sun for a bit and then 'polished' the sticky off with some bug and tar remover. That does work. Apparently acetone might help also, but be careful. Edit: I should mention to wipe clean with water when finished Edited April 4, 2016 by Rufus007 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/464034-v36-coupe-dash-problems/#findComment-7706946 Share on other sites
