Starter motor packed it in today so i need a starter motor. I don`t believe there is a local alternative tht will fit so need a replacement in Melbourne(VIC).

There is one avaliable in brisbane. The nissan 350z is the same as ive recently had to change mine.

a cheaper option to getting another starter is to have the Brushes replaced, costs around the $100 and any auto elect should be able to do it. i have both of my stagea's starters brushes replaced and they are like new again.

I ended up picking up a VQ25DD starter from a V35 250GT. I will rebuild the original starter and keep on hand as a spare should anyone need one urgently.
