Speedo Cable Issue.

On my r32 GTS-T I decided to change the dash to LEDs. No biggie. I took apart the dash 3 or 4 times over the weekend... I had to fix something else and took it back apart. When I put everything back together the speedo stopped working....... I now can see that the cable has falling into the outer piece.

Is there anyway for me to get that piece back out? I'm having a hard time trying to fix this crap. I can see the cable still inside the white piece wit the spring behind the cluster. Anyway to retrieve it??

This is what I have here. The spring and inner piece are out of the speedo cable now. Does this mean I need a whole new speedo cable?

Thanks. I just don't get how I took it apart a dozen times and the time I am about to drive it... then it breaks. Sucks.

I had no issues that I noticed. Must've just broke on the last time I took the dash apart. Oh well. Ordered the cable just now. No worries. Just didn't understand how it worked fine after all the other times I took it apart.
