So much garbage on here once again with people putting shit on the power fc!

If anyone had a bad experience with a power fc it's because there tuner is SHIT.

It's an ECU it does what it's told

You've missed the point totally here mate.

Second hand FC = $700 with heckers hand controller

Nismo AFM's = $700

Thats $1400, more if you want to buy the ECU new.

Yes it will do the job. However, if you want to do something basic like a Flex tune you cant do it.

OR you could buy something like a plug in Link G4 for a few hundred more and be able to do heaps more with it.

There is "cheap" and there is "value". They are not the same sometimes. A Power FC in 2016 is not a "value" option.

You don't buy a box of rotten banana's for $1. Why? You can't do anything with the bloody things!

So Nistune is good with big injectors? A mate had trouble with his 330rwkw SR setup and tuner kept blaming Nistune and the 2000cc injectors (think they were 2000s)

No idea if it was fact or just blaming as it was the easiest escape goat. He gave up on cars and being raped by all the Sydney experts so sold the car.

$700 for a second hand D-Jetro with all accessories.... Pretty good value I recon.

What does it cost to intsall (if paying a workshop to pull off intake plenum and put the MAP sensors where they should be)?

LOL.. did you see my forsale thread on Driftsales?

Sold it in 3 days.. got an adaptronic for $650.. win x 10 with $50 for beer

PFC purchase, install and tune was on par with the cost of selling my M84 with the loom and accessories that I didn't need anymore.

And no more T T T T Timing jitter.

If I wanted to keep the haltec or M84 I would have spent another 2k for a crank trigger.

So massive saving and car runs the best it ever has.

And have my $350 Innovate SCG1 looking after boost and AFRs which cuts boost if I go lean, and has a 5V output to supply signal to FC edit software if I want to log it all.

Can't see a problem at all TBH

Nistune will drive big injectors just fine. I'm not sure that 2000cc injectors count though. They are more like open fire hydrants.

At ~330rwkW that SR20 really didn't need such big injectors. 1400cc hoses would probably have done it. And regardless of what ECU, once you start getting to injectors that size you really need to consider whether staging them makes more sense rather than asking something big and crude to give you a reasonable idle and part throttle cruise as well.

I didn't mention value.

ID 2000's idle and drive 10 times better than Sard 800's. That's on the same car, same ECU and tuner. Actually two cars with very similar setups.

were they CNG injectors? if so.. partly why :)

I have no issues with Nistune with stock to 1250cc injectors on 98 or E85... easiest ECU to get shit to boogie... also TP Cut.. very goose, PowerFC no haz.

I bought my power fc for $400 with controller vs haltech $2100 new without additional additional sensors.

Flex is the ONLY reason i went haltech

+ wideband 02 feedback

+ 2-step, launch

+ flex

+ engine protection

+ no MAF

+ hectic software

+ no need for data logit box shit

+ usb plug wooooo, serial is homo

+ much much more, we'll even included a set of steak knives.

Here's your ID 2000s!

very non linear fuel delivery curve under 1.5 milliseconds which is why ID recommend the 1300cc5c028e760f3690e2b7bb3c46d6dde2c9.jpg

Pull up all the colourful graphs you want mate. I'm talking from sitting in the car driving the bloody thing!

By no means we're they perfect but they were a shitload better than those Sard 800 fluro green tipped nuggets!

Yeah yeah let's not mislead people once again.

you're probably talking about E85 only then which I would then believe you.

because the compressed natural gas injectors do actually atomize really well and you're using a whole lot more Duty cycle being that you are on E85.

I said before PETROL it will not work and they will not work on PETROL and the graph shows that, which is what you do.

you told me you never run on petrol which is why you don't know the difference.

Sigh.

You have no idea at what point in the life the cars were at.

I do not run the car on petrol much, yes. This was years ago (2010-2011).

Anyway, whatever.
