Confirmation On Replacing Rb20 Fuel Pump

Hi guys, just bought a wallbro gs342 to replace my wallbro gss294 and need clarification on a couple of points.

1- as the bottoms of the pumps are different do I just cut off the bottom of the cradle and hose clamp the pump in place?

2- the old pump didn't use the supplied wire and clip it just has fittings on the end of the wires attached to the cradle, this will be ok to use?

3- do you bother with the foam sleeve provided?

1. you can, just move the pump so it's nice and low down in the tank.. pretty straight forward once you pull out the cradle

2. yes

3. no, don't use it.. just securely clamp the pump to cradle with 1 or 2x stainless hose clamps
