My R32 GT-R got a respray here in the US to bring it back to looking factory fresh but in the process the painters accidentally stripped off the top layer of the factory tire placard on my B-pillar so I've got a white area there now that sticks out like a sore thumb. I tried ordering one from Japan with the part number but I've been told they're no longer available. I thought I saw some people here who managed to get one from there in Australia so I was hoping for some help tracking one down. Anyone have one they can sell to me or know a place that does?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks but I saw that thread before and that's where I got the part number 99090-05U15 from. Unfortunately I already tried both Amayama and JPcarparts with the part number and they said it's discontinued. Since a couple of people there mentioned getting them recently I was wondering if there was a shop in Oz that had them.

Here today and gone tomorrow.........

This is happening to a lot of R32 parts.

In 5 years time the parts will be near impossible to get.

Watch the values of both good cars and parts skyrocket then.

Bob.

story of my life. ive never owned a cheap car lol

Get someone to print it for you? Maybe get 10 made and sell the other 9?

I've thought of that as a back-up plan but of course I thought I'd try and exhaust all possibilities at finding an original replacement first. I figure I can just make one with sticker paper and my Epson photo printer that has weatherproof DuraBrite ink but it would help to have a good scan. I got a pic from a friend's car that I can Photoshop but a scan would be better so if anyone knows where I can find one that would help me out too.

That's the big reason why I'm spending the money to restore my Nismo R32 now. It's going to be harder and harder to get parts for these cars especially with the American market snapping them up.

That's just insane but I've thought about picking up the Snap-On tool kit for my R35 for future collectors value as well - the dang thing is just so stupidly overpriced I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I may have to do it sooner rather than later after seeing that eBay auction lol.
