Hello, Today I gave my car a bit of a launch, the clutch pedal stayed to the floor resulting in me not going anywhere fast with some nasty clutch slip and burn smell the pedal came back after getting of the gas. The car drove ok after this with maybe a bit a shudder when taking off pedal worked ok. Has this happened to anyone else?

Unsure what happened fluid is good with no leaks, master also good. I've read that it could be the slave not coming out quick enough, or the clutch is on it's last legs. it is the factory clutch. Or the throw out bearing.

I did go home after this not wanting for something to let go and be stuck.

I'm going to change the clutch anyway now in preparation for hypergear atr43 turbo. Can anyone please suggest a clutch that will handle the power a atr43 turbo can make on stock rb25 with e85

Cheers

Ok thanks guys, I'm going to go with NPC.

But is it normal for the pedal to not come up when experiencing clutch slip? never experienced this before.

Would the issue be with the clutch? The slave looks fine no leak.

I've had the 'stuck pedal' happen before, right before my clutch died. Better get it changed sooner rather than later.
