R33 Rb25 Tomei Cam Degree

Hi there do someone knows how to degree tomei poncam on r33gts-t s2 rb25det motor?

And by the way how far/long has the piston stoper should go?

My stopper is a spark plug with a bolt protruding about 15-20mm longer than standard

Have you got a dial indicator and crank degree wheel?

I have only the dials that come with the camshaft in paper

So if i rotate the engine to the 0° tdc i do then install my piston stoper? I read a posting just now and there explains how to do. But my issue was that i didn't know how to install the stoper

And how long it should be.

Then my other issue is Wen do i install the stoper, cause if i install it when the engine and shafts are align with marks on tdc i cannot rotate the engine can i? Cheers

Read up on how to degree cams.

It's not specific to any engine, it's all the same.

If you put the stopper in with the engine at tdc it will achieve nothing.

Which explains everything. So what's your problem?

Stopper should go in when piston is down, and when engine is rotated should be long enough to touch and stop the piston before it gets to TDC

Do the paper dials that comes in tomei Book, should be glue de to the crank shaft?

Glue to the balancer I guess. Haven't used one. I have a 6" degree wheel that I've put in place of the balancer

Don't bother degreeing the cams, why do you want to do it?

I thought the point of poncams was that they're drop in. Degreeing not required. Am I wrong with that statement?
