sent
Depends on what mods. A decent manual boost controller should be more than enough if you're only going for Stage 1. dyl33
If your not remapping ecu or anything just do the high boost only mod. As for ebc's they all do the same thing just get the coolest one. But I do recommend not getting hks evc-s although still good, can be tricky to set up. Trex
Most aftermarket ecu's come with boost control functions. So buying one may be redundant. I have a turbosmart mbc if you were looking into winding more boost into your current car on the cheap. Pm me. Sklyn
haha, using stages is like saying 'I want Coilovers'.. FFS they have coilovers from stock! aaanywho, my interpretation of stages on a 33 is something like stage 1 < 220rwkw stage 2 > 220rwkw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/464966-boost-controller/#findComment-7731998 Share on other sites

Unless you have a non standard turbo and a programmable ECU, you'll keep running into rich & retarded mode. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/464966-boost-controller/#findComment-7732086 Share on other sites

KiwiRS4T
Don't bother with the boost controller till you have the 3in exhaust FMIC bigger turbo, new ecu and by then you'll be able to get a mac valve instead. Stage 1 mods are the things that you don't need but can afford - like pod filter, noisy BOV, aftermarket FPR.
