What made you go with the -7 and not -5's?

Looking at the specs on the intercooler on the GTR R33's is rated up to 450kw? Would you still change them?

where did this magical number come from?

You would change an IC based on intake temps and inability to flow. So what if a car made 450kW on a stock cooler? measure the intake temps and they would be sky high.. then drive the car on a warm day (outside of a controlled environment) and it's knock city.

Yup, pressure drop and temperature drop as measured on the particular installation are the only numbers to trust.

Spoke to my tuner at Chasers and has advised to go with the -7's. More response and can tune to give top end as well.

I have opted for the -7's. Let's see how it goes...

If your going to buy them new go with the -9, same response and its believed they make a little more power
