Kewl Skylines Number Plates

Recommended Posts

Guest GR33DyMANGO

Im sure everyone knows that a Skyline makes most people take a second look.

So I;ve been debating over what custom number plate I should order for a few weeks so that my car will stand out that little bit more:). Firstly, I was just going to get my nickname ie MANGO... but then my friends thought that'd look a tad retarded.

So then my mates came up with the idea of putting the model type of your skyline in the letters of your plate. For example R33 is the same is REE... so from there we tried to figure out wht words have REE in them...

these are a few combos we came up with:

STREET CREED = STR33T CR33D

GREED = GR33D

plus there were a few more........but being the retard i am cant remember them:rolleyes:

anyway.... i ended up gettin' GR33D. I;m really interested what you guys think? I reckon my mates are genius'... I;m too absent minded to come up with such an idea.

PS. Hey WASSABI... what does wassabi actually mean? Oh and i luv your car i see it cruising around subi and shention park all the time... you;re car is sweeeeeeeeeeet:D

Also, can anyone think of any other REE ie R33 combinations for plates?

Cheers:lol:

Me and a mate had a huge list of number plate ideas. All designed around QLD plates though. So FR33K is not (cheaply) possible. In QLD it is 3 letters, 2 numbers... ABC12 or 12ABC.

We came up with heaps, some that I can remember:

TRU57 - TRUST

80OST - BOOST

35OME - 3 Some

TUB11 - Tubby (mates nick name)

57OLN - STOLEN

DOS12 - Does 12 (13 or whatever, we were gunna go 19 for joke)

500HP - Horse power (yeah sure)

A mate was buying a silvia and tried to get a few of these plates, but the good ones were allready taken. So he bought NIZ30, with idea that the 3 is like an "M" on it's side. After he got them I told him it was spelt N.I.S.M.O not with a Z! He didn't end up getting the car, and the plates were the right colour so i bought em off him cheap :D

    • Excuse me for butting in....but which part of ADHD can be considered a superpower? I would have though it far more likely that some ASD comorbidity is more likely to be contributing to an ability to hyperfocus on something. ADHD being aimed somewhat in the other direction. My shed looks like your shed. My whiteboard list of unfinished projects has entries going back 15 years. I know what you're talking about - I just struggle to connect ADHD to the results being discussed.
    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 🤪
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
