I'lll post up my -5 result later when Photobucket is back up (in my showcase below if I forget), but Ambi3nce's -9 result looks very similar to my -5 result.

Main difference looks to be power band is on 300-500rpm sooner, and ~15% more peak torque ! (520 vs 605)

Same boost, same peak power, same ecu, same cams, same fuel, same workshop, same tuner/dyno.

...not sure if you could get much closer in terms of setup for comparison?

Headstuds & more boost should widen the gap between -5 & -9s in the top end though.

Hi folks, Skyline newbie here, so please pardon my obviously elementary question.

I was under the impression that -9's are smallest of the bunch, smaller than -7's.  Is that incorrect?  Because I ask the vendor to quote me quickest responding/spooling Garret turbo, and he told me that's -9's.

I'm okay if -9's flow less power than -7's, but if -9's are more responsive then I will stick with -9's.

So with -9's on stock 440cc injectors, can I run 16psi?  I believe 16psi is the base setting for Garrett actuators.
