Anyone Have A Rb20, How To Tdc Guide?

Hey guys. I've had a quick look on here but cant really find something that clears this up for me. I need to pull the head off my rb20det but never done it by myself before. Im aware of everything else like the sneaky 3 bolts people usually miss and etc.

What are you asking?

Line the mark on the crank up with the mark on the oil pump and thats top dead centre cyl 1 (1 or 6 may be on compression depending what the cams are doing)

Doesn't really matter either way. You can basically pull the head off in any position, its just easier to do it in TDC so you have a reference when re-installing it

if you need to pull the head off, it's time for a new motor, i.e rb25

If you can't figure out tdc, leave the engine alone
