Well guys I thought I've owned many cars but never actually done a build thread so thought here goes. This is my second 33 I've owned over the years. Ultimately I want to drift it at pracs and events etc.

I bought the car last month and got it quite cheap. Regoed and all for 3500 which my goal was to get one as cheap as I could

The ad that caught my attention

The day she came home

It was mainly cheap as the backyard paint job someone tried to do by making it matte white. But it went alright and I thought it was a good base for a little project.

The car came with a few little goodies. Had power fc installed but only on a base map, fuel pump, sway bar and strut brase.

I noticed driving it however that ride was incredibly bumpy. Like stupidly bumpy considering she didn't have coilovers. So jacked up the front and my suspicions were correct she had a leaking front strut.

My mate had a set of kyb shocks and lowered springs with rebound adjustment for $100 which would do for the mean time.

Was a good thing I got a full set as my rear struts had chopped springs hahah oh the joys and changed them all out. Also got a set of advan Tri spoke rims of another mate for $100, I know not everyone likes the tri spokes but I do hahah. As well thought I'd paint the bonnet black to break up this matte white paint job.

She's not perfect but she's a work in progress. All the a/c has been stripped out as well as the spare tyre etc. Every kg counts hahah.

So my goals/aims with the car would be to have a nice clean looking 33 that see's a bit of track time.

Want around the 400-450rwhp mark. Might seem a lot for some but coming from a turbo v8 with over 700 it doesn't seem so bad.

Picking up next week when I fly home a hi mount mani, Bosch z32, top feed fuel rail and a tial 38mm gate, not bad for $300 I'd say.

Still trying to decide on turbo setup though, I pick one turbo one day then change the next.

Hopefully next break will be welding the diff, have decided on a turbo and install some fender fasteners and also tinkering on some little parts here and there. Joys of FIFO with only one week out of three to work on her.

Just need to purchase ffp and injectors then should be time to tune her and hopefully make some numbers

Well purchased a ffp today so that will be the next step. But the turbo install is all completed
