modb
Hey everyone, yesterday I wired up my Haltech Plug and play for my R32 Gtst with an rb25det swap, running 750cc intectors, topmount turbo, Haltechs MAP sensor (was running a used Z32 MAF with Nistune) And running an rb20det Engine harness without VCT pinned. My problem is that once the car gets warm and has been running for 10-15 minutes it will randomly cut all power and stall out, I got it to do it a few different times and i know its not losing fuel pressure because my FPR gauge had full pressure when it died, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem? The car was running previously with NIStune and didn't have this problem Edited July 5, 2016 by modb Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/465629-r32-rb25det-haltech-issue/ Share on other sites
KiwiRS4T
ECUs are not really "plug and Play" you have to tune them to suit the injectors and any other non standard features. Have you got an air temp sensor connected? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/465629-r32-rb25det-haltech-issue/#findComment-7754356 Share on other sites
modb
The injectors have been adjusted for, and air intake temp is turned off. And I also know its not plug and play, its just a lot easier then using NIStune in my personal opinion Edited July 5, 2016 by modb Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/465629-r32-rb25det-haltech-issue/#findComment-7754360 Share on other sites
Dose Pipe Sutututu
Nistune is easier to setup than a Haltech. Do you even have a wideband on the car? there's a chance it's too lean and stalling/leaning out... also you need to play with the idle control PIDs to get it to idle + work on the fuel cut/recovery table? did you adjust the correct injection dead times etc.? There's much to adjust and tweak before it runs properly. Nistune however, just drag the K and TIM till the car stoiches the rest is easy. modb
I have a wide band in the car and its not leaning out, and the dead times were corrected. When it dies there's no warning, and the A/f ratios look fine, that's whats random Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/465629-r32-rb25det-haltech-issue/#findComment-7755052 Share on other sites
