I just threw a proflow fuel rail for an RB25 in the trash a few weeks ago.  Leaked from the crush washer area on both ends where the AN fittings attach.  Tried Earl's crush washers and it still didn't solve the problem with the leaking.  Proflow claimed I was sent the wrong crush washers and that they were supposed to have sent stat-o-seals with the rail.  I don't believe that was true they were just trying not to pay return shipping on the rail to have it replaced.  Although the stat-o-seals stopped the leaking they weren't a proper fitment.  I kept my HKS knockoff in favor of the proflow.

thanks for the replies. great insight from first hand experience. ill most likely be sticking with the stock rail with the biggest injectors possible and a nismo reg to squeeze the injectors a little further.

meanwhile while changing my pump i noticed this fuel reg looking thing. can someone tell me what it is and what it does?

have changed a few pumps in nissans but never came across this?

Over pressure relief valve. Probably don't need it.

your current choice of actions seem pretty good unless your power goals are 500awkw with ethanol or something like that.
A lot of people seem to go for a new fuel rail when they don't need it, stock can do 400+ on E85. guess its one of those "well that car i saw had one so i must need one" kind of thing.

Reserved a freddy rail to pick up when i'm home myself today, but my power goals are up at that 500kw on ethanol mark. Also means i need to get an new FPR, another thing people seem to buy for no reason
