Thanks for the self fix info but I'll leave it to someone that knows how to replace the airbags as it's a tad complex for me and I'd prefer it done by someone like my mechanic.

Getting an  air bag guy out to plug into the car and check the airbag computer error's to see exactly what needs replacing before buying anything.

Will end up buying an entire dash / airbags from another  S2 then get my mechanic to fit it.

40th Anniversary model is great to drive, you musta gotta dud. Midnight Purple sealed the deal for me.
