Just purchased a v35 manual sedan as my daily. It has a few little issues I need to address before roadworthy.

Such as engine belts needing replacement, creaky clutch noise from the bell housing and leaking plastic end tank radiator.

So ... I'm looking for a replacement radiator, preferably alloy, good chinese/ebay $300 jobbie, not koyo/pwr $700 jobbies as its just my daily.

Anyone buy anything that's held up well or should I buy a koyo plastic end tank replacement.

Plenty of 350z ones on ebay, but top tank is the other way around :(

Thanks.

DON'T buy a cheap Chinese Ebay one. They work well for a while, but WILL split somewhere eventually and leak, then need to be replaced. Personal lesson learned. Pay the extra cheddar and buy a brand name one, or buy an oem replacement.

Different car, but I've had no problem with the KOYO OE replacement radiator I brought. Never seen temps go beyond 86 degrees in summer with a/c on. Unless you have serious power or track it hard big alloy rad may not be necessary.

Agreed, the Koyo is good - that is what I got after my alloy rad split. And yes, the thicker radiators require a fair bit of mucking around to fit including cutting the fan shroud and mounting holes to make it fit.
