Also interested in the GPS tracker, there is another thread but I cannot remember the name ?

Try NRMA vintage insurance if it is not a daily ride and you have another car to use for everything else.

They had it you can drive it 10 times a month and  in a garage but it seems they could change their policy at anytime. Great deal if you can get it

Old style GPS trackers required a subscription to a tracking service but the new ones will phone your own phone directly. Then all you need is a sim card in it. Google to get excessive amounts of info.

Hi guys,

Looking for your feedback on GPS trackers. Who here uses one and what are the costs associated? Any feedback here is appreciated.

And who do you guys insure your car with? Most insurers will only insure my GTR R32 for 22k max or charge an arm and a leg for an agreed value...

Thanks!

If you're located in Melbourne I recommend CARZON. www.carzon.com.au.

They install custom alarm systems and also GPS tracking systems with an App where you can log in and see where your car is 24/7, also how fast its going and where it's been for up to 6mths. I got an alarm and GPS for $500. GPS costs $15 per month.

If NRMA are anything like RACV if you crash your car they will only quote/assess your car based on NEW PARTS ONLY. In my case they wrote my car off as an economical write off because they only quote installing new parts. But they pay out within a week and  they allowed me to buy my wreck back.

Thanks for the help guys.

Anyone with recommendations on an insurer? I need someone who can insure at an agreed value and not charge an arm n leg.

As Nismo 3.2ish says, NRMA Vintage Veteran and Classic is the most reasonable these days (with conditions).

One GTR is insured for 143K agreed value. Premium is  $1,200pa
