Unable to start my r33 with its det computer

Hey there I've had this problem for quiet some time now and am seeking desperate rb guru knowledge,so my series 2 rb25det auto r33 is reading error code 21 thru the diagnostic port , iknow its ignition signal code ,I've replaced coils ,sparkys (twice),CAS,AFM,and still the car didn't start? Now funny thing igot ahold of a rb25de auto ecu and loom wired it up too see if it will start and it DID on 25de brains(ecu)? yet no go on my 25det auto ecu ? Does this mean the ecu needs resetting or perhaps fried ? This problem just ocured out of the random after turning car off 1 day ?!?!? All help apreciated

Sounds like it. Next step is to try to borrow a S2 25DET ecu (preferably auto but any would do for start up) and if that works you can start looking for a proper replacement. You could try taking the lid off yours to look for any obvious damage that you might be able to repair

Chuck that auto box in the bin get ur self a manual setup and the correct ecu

You must have read his post differently to me; i didn't see any mention of "should i do a manual conversion"

I'm in wellington and I'm tryna find a s2 25det auto ecu proving to be a mision and have removed cover couldn't see any obvious damage my guese is replace ecu due to car starting on a auto 25de brain
