AC condensor fan

Hello,

 

The fan in front of the ac condensor( the radiator looking thing in front of the radiator), doesn't come on when I turn on the ac.  Is it supposed to come on?

 

I have a r32 gtst.

Well actually I did because this thread exists but I didn't see the answer elsewhere in the first few pages.

People should feel able to ask questions here, it's why the forum exists.

Not too far below me at all but when the same person asks questions where the answer could have easily been found or asks the same things that he has already asked previously, it strikes my sarcasm chord.

That's odd because it was the first thing that came up when I googled. Hence I was able to provide the answer to the op's question albeit sarcastically.

I agree with Duncan, let's lay off the sarcasm. Forums are about helping each other, not making them too embarrassed to ask what to some is an obvious question, to others is not....

If he's clearly asked the same question before and been given the same answer then yes I agree, it can be a little annoying.

Fair points from both of you and I agree. To add to the original answer, the fan wiring can be modified to make it run with the ac if desired. The info can be found on this forum.
