just a suggestion to anyone going, see if you can buy or borrow one of those seat belt pillow things. i found my collarbone very sore at the end of the day, after braking so hard.

is a very good price. recommend anyone who hasnt done the basics to do it.

I am 98% in for this.... but just one question. What do we need to have on our car... can we just bring any street car? Do we need to do anything to our car.. expample brake upgrade or suspension upgrade....

Any street car is fine.

Its not specific...

ie. you have to have 15k worth of Ohlins suspension & AP racing 6-spotters

You'll have to check with your insurance company, some will reconise that you have done a course, some wont.

last time i asked "just cars" they didnt give any discount. i believe young and cool will knock off substantial amount. as for mainstream insurers, dunno.

It's still worth your while. Cheap price and all. Hit your parents up for the money, i'm sure theyd be happy to part on defensive course. The guy at just cars told me its in my best interest anyway.

I thought it was a shame they didnt have any deals or recommend any schools. The reason i asked them, is AAMI offer like a free course for drivers under 25. I was annoyed they wouldnt honour this, since they are owned by the same mob.
