I've wanted an R32 since I was a kid. Being that I live in the U.S., that was not very feasible for a very long time. I've had an S-Chassis since 2003, and will never not have one (I currently have 2 as well as a P10), but I've finally picked up an R32 a couple weeks ago. It's a '90 TH1 with just over 43,000 miles on the odometer. Basic mods like a catback exhaust, pod filters, FMIC, coilovers and wheels came with it. I waited for this specific color, and paid more than I wanted to, but it is what it is; I finally got one!

I'll post more pics in a build thread, but here are a couple taken a few days after I picked it up!

2_Liter_Turbo or 2.6_Litre_Turbo?

There is a username change thread in case you made a Typo

It's not a typo. I've had my SR20DET for 11 years now, so my screen name on every forum is the same, ha ha. I won't ever sell it either, so the screen name will likely never change.

Oh now I understand. Plus Litre is spelt Liter in the U.S, so I just found out

It's only the second TH1 I have ever seen. The other was in Perth, Western Australia.

    • This is untested by me, however, its one of the weird but well known behaviours of polarisation and Quantum Physics, and may be able to be used here. A simple way to check if sunglasses are polarised, is to take a pair of sunglasses you know are polarised, then hold the pair you want to test so that the lenses are at 90 deg, and when you look through the two lenses, it will be black. However, if you take a third pair and hold them at 45 deg and between the pair, looking through all three lenses will be almost clear. Weird, but supposedly true and it depends on the weird behaviours caused by quantum effects.
    • I'll leave this here Owned it for 5 days, changed alignment and its .7 of a second slower than my 180sx up Noosa hill climb. Mca reds, cusco diff and short ratio, e85, some gktech arms, endless pads and Nankang CRS Tyres.  I beat a gt3 porsche with an experienced targa driver too.

    • AAAaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh! Following on from OP's AC woes....mine got regassed last year and at some point I discovered it had lost enough gas to not switch on any more. It had dye in it, but we never saw any trace of dye, perhaps because it all fell out long enough before we looked that it washed away. (Or, shudder, it's under the dash in a hard to see/reach spot!). I almost never run the AC because I just drive with the windows down even when it's 40+ outside. Only occasionally want it when I just can't take the heat or if I need some defog. So, got it gassed up again with more dye and oil so I could run it a bit to provoke the leak to show. And the compressor is noisy. So, now I am staring down the barrel of having to fit a rebuild kit to the compressor (or maybe the spare that is on the shelf).  And hope that the leak is at the comp, and not under the bloody dash.
