We'll be doing back to back runs, similar to the most recent motorkhana, which seems to move through the list of cars pretty quickly.

This means more runs per car for the entire day. Definitely won't be having a full line of cars queued at once, we'll most likely be calling groups of 10 at a time.
HH is a good spectator track, so sitting in a queued car all day isn't the best outcome for anyone.

Just don't press the loud pedal too hard, I still have road tyres on the rear of mine. I don't think I will bother changing them.

Yeah I'll be taking it easy that's for sure even though I picked up that extra set of semi's cheap to trail on the day.

Had to laugh at my entry on the list as I was waiting for that to be put in there... lol

I would love to bring my r32 gtr along, Do I need to be a full on member of sau? Or is being a member of the website enough? Not sure what to put on the entry form under "car club" as I am not a member of any clubs yet.

Hi folks - I registered but it looks like I will need to cancel as 'may be right for Friday' isn't enough for me to just eat the entry fee.

As the event isn't full, is it possible to change from pre-paid to pay on the day (provided the event does not fill?)

Was looking forward to rolling my car or embedding it into a wall for all to see :(

Apologies if too late to cancel/refund now. Only paid yesterday. Unsure of who to contact/call for this kind of thing!

You need to be a paying member to be able to get a cams licence, if it's your first time then you can get a CAMS and sau day membership for $30.

You will need a fire extinguisher that is bolted into the car, helmet that meets regulations. I will post them up tomorrow.

Just put - sau day as the car club and day as the licence number

Here is the info on helmets and extinguishers. Sorry if it comes out a bit messy doing this from my phone.

Most helmets from your local motorbike shop will pass the requirement. Which is it must have the AS/NZS 1698 sticker or greater.

However you get what you pay for, so the cheaper helmets are heavier, bulkier and hotter. I'd suggest something in $200 range, as that provides good overall value.

The fire extinguisher must be 900g or larger with a standards sticker of as1841 (not as1841.2). Which you can get from autobarn or supercheap, make sure it has a metal bracket. The date stamped on the bottle is only valid for 3 years, so get one with this years date on it. You need to 'bolt' it to the car which you can grab from here. This bracket bolts straight to the seat, without the need for drilling or cutting
