Skyline r33 gtst auto convert too manual

Hi guys need some help on some ideas I have r33 skyline gtst it's automatic was thinking of converting too manual cost is high but also was thinking of putting racing BM shifter much cheaper can I get some advice on what you would think would be the best thanks!

Don't bother converting a car from auto that came so abundantly in manual

Unless it's a prime example or you have a huge sentimental attachment to it

Just be warned the cost is almost always more than buying. Might want to do a 5 stud conversion at the same time?

Oh sorry was thinking non turbo; they have 4 stud hubs/wheels

Birds, GTR's are a 2.6 Litre Twin Turbo.... They come with 5 stud hubs and big brakes.

I recommend the manual conversion and the BM Shifter Kit. You won't look back.

There are dozens of threads in there regarding Auto to Manual conversions.

Most of them follow these steps:

1. Owner of the car decides they want manual
2. Owners of the car ignoring advice to not do it and to just buy a Manual car instead.
3. Owner does it anyway, spends thousands
4. Owner realises everyone else was right
5. Owner then tries to spread their newly gained wisdom by telling others that it isn't worth doing.

You've moved past Step 1. Currently at Step 2, moving into Step 3.
But no doubt you won't be like everyone else... Step 4 and 5 were unrelated to your specific situation I'm sure.

Can some one help me please! My skyline keeps piping out of 3rd gear and going into neautral I have no idea what it is I'm thinking my gear box is gone but any help with this I would really appreciate please!

Have you tried using the search field up the top right hand side? That would be your best bet.

Busted/worn synchro hub on third gear

Will usually pop out when you take your foot off the throttle

Gearbox reco for you
