They might be quick to 100 but to only run a 13.2 over the 1/4 mile looks like subaru have worked to make the car get to 100 quick but after that its nothing special..

i do believe the new evo's are detuned to run better with our fuel or for emissions reasons or both but yes i remember reading that they were detuned when compared to the jap veersion

One thing which is quite misleading is 0 - 60 mp/h times AND 0 - 100 km/h times. You'll get quite a few tenths of a second difference between quoted times in different units. 0 - 60 mph is NOT the same as 0 - 100. 0 - 62 is more accurate. So if you ever see a cars 0 - 60mp/h time, add bout 2 - 3 tenths of second onto that figure.
