R32 GTR Diff Rebuild

Hi Guys,

My R32 GTR rear diff is stuffed and is so bloody loud. I've been looking for a second hand diff but found they are quite hard to find. Does anyone no how much I would be looking at to rebuild my diff? and could anyone recommend a place to get in rebuilt in Melbourne?

Depends on why it is making noise. If there is just a problem with the pinion crush washer having collapsed and all it needs is to be set up again, then you're looking at a few hundred bucks. If the crownwheel and/or pinion gear are worn and need replacing them add that not insignificant cost into the several hundred for labour (plus seals, bearings, etc) to set it back up.

If the noise is from inside the mech centre then it is probably a throwaway and you'd be looking for a replacement centre....anywhere up to $1500 for a new nismo, for example.
