this is the failure mode.

but I think warps is on the money in terms of how the crack propagated. Crack could have also been there from manufacturing defect.

Got sent some replacements. Which is great of them.




Duncan, I've been thinking about this today and yes traction rods are needed with the amount I am trying to push the top of the wheel out.
Essentially I've forced in a bar and its been under force because the traction arm cannot be adjusted. Wouldn't be surprised if those bushes have flogged out quicker than they should have.
Is this on the right track?

Spot on. Exactly the same issue happens in the front upper arm, particularly 32 gtr, when you add castor for the same reason

 

And good on whiteline for sorting out replacements with no trouble.
