what size intercooler

I'm running a stock turbo and 3.5 inch catback exhaust with pod filter, I'm thinking of getting an intercooler what size do you guys suggest

You dont need any thing too big.

Something around 450mm x 250 x 75mm thick would be more than adequate. Something too large will result in unwanted lag between gear change etc.

Also bare in mind your pipe size. Keep it relativley sized, and with minimal bends. :uh-huh:

mine is 500 X 280 X 76 is plenty big enough

I have an intercooler off a VR4.

It's 420 x 210 x 75.

Since I've put it in I noticed boost hardly spikes now, and the cars performance is more consistant! I wouldn't recomend going any smaller than this!

600x300x75 is fine, it won't cost more than something slightly smaller and it will have more cooling surface area, therefore more efficient.

Yeah, thanx meggala, only it looks kinda funny! I didn't plan how to mount the cooler, so when i took it to get bigger pipes welded on the end tanks, I wasn't really fussed how they were done!

Because of that now, it sits on an angle (about 20 degrees!!!)

Oh well.... At least it does the job!
