Can anyone tell me what this switch is

I have this switch under the electric mirror position joystick and have no idea what it is. It's on the right hand side of an r33 gtst series 1 jap import.

Not being the owner of a 33, but just looking at the symbols, I would hazard a guess that it folds the mirrors in / out.

 

Have you even tried the switch to see what it does?

Obviously yours doesn't work............otherwise you would be flapping [flapping, I said flapping] your mirrors!!!

Does the car have to be on for this to work? I tried it with it on and they didn't do anything I'm assuming once you turn it off they would fold in thanks guys [emoji4]

Car as to be on for it to work yes  (reds at very least) - Definitely fold in/out mirrors. 

If they don't work look up the guide in the DIY section to repair them. I have used the guide twice now both times with great success.

The contacts in the mirror break. Easy fix really. Mine need to be looked at but never end up getting around to it

Yep,  just needs to be disassembled and the contacts glued back in place. I would recommend Araldite for longevity
