E85 on BNR34 with standard fuel lines...

Hi all,

I was recently told that the fuel lines on BNR34's are actually smaller then BNR32 & BCNR33's... and I know that the ideal setup when running E85 is replacing the standard lines with full braided or Teflon lines, but I wont have the $$$ or time to get that them in time for WTAC in less then a weeks time.

So my question is this, Is anyone running their R34 GT-R on E85 with the standard fuel feed lines???

As im only aiming for around 330-350 kW's at the rears would I still need to upgrade lines?

No, but that's not a lot of power.  Think about ho much power you've seen people make in R34s on 98 (ie, quite a lot more) on standard fuel lines.

Not a 34 gtr yet I know of 3 s15 around the 350rwkw mark on e85 with standard lines and rails

Feed and return at the same time drill little holes on the jet pump siphon whatever it's called.

Best to convert to an fittings or use a R33 lid (if it fits.. should I think).

Plugs are different on the R33 lid. R33, S14 and S15 lids all fit but plugs are different haha.

 

The size of the fuel line itself is not the issue its the fuel hat itself the plastic inlet and outlet are very restrictive.

 

That being said I you will be able to make the power you are after without touching the hat at all. I made 400awkw or so with a standard hat.

R34 here, E85 with standard lines everywhere 354rwkw.

Just a basic in tank pump and some fatter injectors.

Just update that, as someone reacted to it. 

380rwkw now, same lines, but removed pressure regulator in tank and upgraded to aeroflow fuel filter.
