Help - R32 AUTO Questions???

Hi there

I have just recently bought a R32 GTS-t 93 Model But its Automatic...

Im just wondering if anyone knows what the Red button in front of the gear stick does. And also Explain exactly what the hold button does??

I relise its to hold a gear but ????

Could be your powershift...if they have them.

gTR69 is righto

hold system just holds 1 gear lower than what are in until you shift it up or turn it off, i use it for drags good shit, but i got a r33 so may be diff but i don't see why it would be

the little red button allows you to move the gearstick when the car is off. like when you have to work on the stereo or something you can move it without turning the car on

spot on...

also, when you are stopped and press the hold button in, the car takes off in 2nd gear (to prevent wheelspin in slippery conditions)

yeah from what i know the snow button replaces the hold in r33's

hold button in the auto r32s is called snow mode in japan, effectively means the car coodnt pull the skin of a soup!! i find i cant get the car over 3k when in hold mode!!
