Engine dead so turbo setup is for sale. Has done 20,000kms at 8psi, with the very occasional hit at 12-14psi (i can count the no. of times on one hand) and comes complete with:

- Trust TD06SH-20G 10cm^2 Turbo, rated at 420hp

- Trust Type R Wastegate

- Trust Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold

Manifold and exhaust housing have been ceramic coated, and the compressor cover has been semi polished.

Comes complete with dump pipe and AFM pipe and oil lines. This turbo will bolt straight onto an RB20/25, with the exhaust plumbing up to your cat. Comes with re-written for R32 ECU for GTR injectors and Series II R33 AFM. Can supply GTR injectors and AFM at additional cost.

Need to sell urgently to get the car back on the road, but want to sell as complete kit

Asking $4,100 complete

(GTR injectors & AFM extra $400)

- Also have a std RB20 for sale, 170,000kms minimal blow by, suspected bent inlet valve. No reason to believe a problem exists with the engines bottom end.

Asking $300

Price Drop.... for $4150 you get:

- Trust TD06-20G , with ceramic coated exhaust housing (approx $1400)

- Trust Type R wastegate (approx $600)

- Trust stainless manifold, ceramic coated (approx $1300)

- Re-written Jap ECU for GTR Injectors and R33 AFM (approx $500)

- GTR injectors and F33 AFM (aaprox $500)

- Oil lines (approx $150)

- Dump pipe/front pipe (approx $300)

- Filter/AFM to turbo pipe (approx $150)

If you need a front mount i can also supply a HKS Type S cooler complete with clamps/silicon and 120deg bend straight off the throttle body to reduce pipe length/volume and also better clear the high mount turbo. Pipes/IC/BOV (SSQV Monza, 6wks old) for extra $1350

So for $5,500 you get a bolt on kit for an RB20DET that at 1.1 bar should se you around 210-220rwkws and at 1.3-1.4 bar around 230-250rwkws

R33 owners can offer prices for only the parts they want as obviously an R32 ECU etc isnt much good to you , but the manifold and dump etc will still definitely bolt on your RB25

Problem is if i sell just the manifold then im stuck with a turbo, wastegate and dump pipe that arent readily of use to anyone...so i would want very good money for it, ie not a reasonable figure...ready for it $1700.

Got any pics of this stuff??

This is the only photos i have until i go see the car next

td06front(1).JPG

The manifold is in top nic, so is the exhaust housing due to the black ceramic coating by Competition Coatings.

The wastegate has a nice soft spring so can run as little as 8psi if you require, or wind it in and run as much boost as you dare :) Wastegate is also in perfect working order.

Happto field ppls reasonabel offers for the turbo, manifold, wastegte and dump pipe

Bump, had it dyno'd at 8psi the other day and it made 18?rwkws at 8psi. Didnt have time to do a full tune so left it very conservative tune to get the car back on the road. So to date the turbo still hasnt been stretched or even boosted

Can guarantee that this turbo setup makes an easy and lazy 210rwkws at only 11-12psi on a std RB20. Free to go for a drive in car with this setup, but will need to be quick as it will be removed from car soon

Roy, will Turbo bolt straight to std man?

Is WG on Dump or Exh Man?

Check PM - Greg.

    • Apologies, while id like to put the MAF as close to the TB and relocate the recirc, this may be too much work. Will most likely end up just putting it on the original AFM spot ( onto/next to the airbox ).  Was going through nistune, found a pretty nifty doc on this. Nistune MAF Notes. Also, i was looking through the bay, and there seems to be a tube/line connected from the A/C to the intercooler piping ( Between the smic and the recirc), what does this do as the crossover fmic piping doesnt have any connection? plumbing? not sure what you call it but the nipple thing ahah.  Also, been reading up more about crossover fmic in regards to the legality of having the hole drilled for the piping, this would most likely need to be engineered right?
    • My advice is if you need a big build done do it in Japan. The yen rate is so favorable and there are shops that can be genuinely trusted and not micromanaged/carefully monitored every step of the way. Garage Yoshida is obviously my preferred option but they're so busy these days and all interaction with new customers has to be mediated through BBL/Toprank now.
    • I haven't....but a poorly made one would terrify me. Surely a good second hand one is the go, as they don't work hard and no-one wants to keep one after they are finished with it A big consideration would be the weight of the shell you are putting on it....is it a fully dressed chassis or just the body
    • Not stock. All remade. Mostly looks stock because the pipes run to and from the standard holes in the inner guard to get to the return flow FMIC. I'm not sure which question you're trying to ask, because it seems like "stock position" vs "stock position".
    • Hey, it's a GT-R, it's just as significant a moment as mine😁 It's not ideal when things are uncertain; I'm the type of person that always has a set plan for things in life so being unsure of this plan puts me in a weird place mentally.
