Hicas delete

Hey guy not sure if stupid question but I've seen these hicas delete systems on eBay, are the worth investing in for my r33 gtst? If so any brands in particular better than others. Thanks in advance

Are you referring to the hicas lock bar or hicas elimination kit?

I'm unsure of which one. Nah hicas light never turns on but I was just reading an eBay add about the hicas eliminator kit, sound to improve handling and few other things. Would a kit be classed as an upgrade? Why is the need for this really.

I'm not sure that a $50 metal bar is better then the factory engineered hicas system.

I'm only new to having a 33 had a 31 a couple years ago only just got my 33 so any help is appreciated

That's what I thought, the only way to tell if it broke apart from a mechanic. Is if the light turns on when diving then it's broken?

Unless you do a lot of drifting or track your car hard, there is probably little to no benefit to removing hicas. And then if you were to, it would probably be better to get a non-hicas subframe.

I've got a hi as elimination kit in my r34 ini lay went that way cus the rear tierods are a pain on the ass to find but it makes no real difference. It only gets getting a wheel alignment harder

i used a gtech hicas bar...big weight saving, but can't tell the difference between having it and not...then again i don't track the car.

I've got a lock bar and gktech camber adjusters and I found on the track and during Hillclimb's it got rid of the vagueness in the rear end caused by the pump failing and making the car crab after hard cornering. Wife's car has it and it works fine so I don't touch it on that one.
