New Q60 Infiniti

The 2-litre model is due out in Q4 but they are pretty secretive on the RRP, same with the 3-litre TT model in 2017.

I don't know about you guys, but these cars look amazing! I'm surprised at the lack of discussion on these cars...

I test drove the Q50s a few weeks ago and it handles very nicely. You definitely feel the difference from the V36! Can't wait to have a look at the Q60

50% in 5 years is darn good resale value.  bought my wife's J31 Maxima at 22 months old with 40,000km for less than 50% new price, but they have poor resale.. most cars will hit 50% after about 3 years and those with good resale, about 4.

But we are talking private sale price, not dealer used car prices.. they are always way over inflated.

Front looks good, rear looks good but at the side view, it looks cheap. I think it's the chrome edging around the windows. Not because I own one but I prefer the look of my 2009 V36 over that. It just seems classier.

Otherwise, a twin-turbo 3L pumping out around 336kW, yes please!!

Because they are the only 2 formats Nissan have built with the VR30DDTT so far, unless they have some secret version they are going to release into the Aust delivered Q60, but I think that is fairly unlikely.

Perhaps they were building a higher output version for the Tau Rouge, and Caradvice.com assumed that is what they were going to use?

true.. but the info was more about the engine rather than what car it is in.

I haven't seen any credible information on a factory 336kw version of the VR30DDTT yet.  Would be nice if they do release one, but I have my doubts Australia would be the first market to get it.  In fact history suggests Australia usually misses out on any tweaked versions they ever build.

    • Couldn't help myself, had to start putting it together.... It really is a solid bit of kit.  Probably stronger than i would have made it myself to be fair! 🤣🤣 Sweating like a pig after that.  Bloody hot and muggy day today, time for a swim now!
    • Yeah was thinking that. I've had the car go lower idle possibly around 650rpm every once in a long time after pouring fuel and would sound quite rough like a misfire, almost like it's shit fuel or something but who knows.
    • @Wazmond you are correct, my bad, was not my intent    https://www.facebook.com/share/15ZMn5oXtc/ Updated Event (so its not private and can be shared easier)  Attempting to coordinate a big push of Stagea's to this years GTR Festival. Great event last year and hoping for the same this year.    I've emailed them to ask to set a location aside for the Stageas for the show and shine - they are happy to do so if we can get them numbers, I'm happy to keep track of that. Entering as Nismo category.    I'll be road tripping up from Melbourne, would be cool to convey if people are interested, maybe there is SAU convoys from each capital? If you have ideas about that let me know.    https://gtrfestival.com.au
    • Just buy a bunch of covers off aliexpress, they're like $5 each. Rattle-can them and stick them on as needed/fly off.
